The USA is in the North of America. The Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Ocean are it’s borders. There are 50 US States and 1 District, with New York as its largest city Washington as its capital. The USA has a very large and central plain and mountains in the west and east.

The climate in the USA is very diverse. The weather is tropical in the States of Florida and Hawaii with Alaska having arctic conditions. Many parts of the US can be prone to forest fires, tornados and earthquakes, but not too frequently, thankfully.

A popular choice for holiday-makers is Miami located on the Atlantic coast. It is warm year round and hot and humid in the summer. October is probably the best time to visit.
