Jamaica is the third largest island in the Caribbean and the most populated English speaking island in this region. The Island is surrounded by a narrow coastal plain and blue Mountains. Most of the major towns and cities are located on the coast and including the capital, Kingston.

The climate is tropical in Jamaica. The weather in general is tropical, with a very hot and humid climate. The higher regions inland have a more temperate climate. Jamaica lies in the hurricane belt of the Atlantic Ocean, so sometimes experiences severe storm damage.

Most holiday-makers travelling to Jamaica probably want to take advantage of the fabulous beaches, the likes of Montego Bay and Ocho Rios..
