Woodlands is a very attractive, spacious, Provencal home nestling in a large garden with flower beds, climbing roses, level grassed areas and woodland with glimpses of mountains in the distance. A tranquil location, fifteen minutes walk along a quiet country lane to the medieval village of Fayence with its excellent restaurants, country market and shops. The villa is decorated and furnished to a high standard and is part air conditioned. The living accommodation and master bedroom on the lower floor have beautiful views of the garden and wooded hillsides. The lovely mosaic pool (10 x 5m) and fully equipped summer kitchen with gas hob, BBQ and drinks fridge are only a few paces from the house and offer a delightful alternative to indoor eating. Internet Wireless Broadband access and a flat screen High Definition TV with UK, free to view satellite channels are available. Free telephone (Europe, USA and Canada only). Unsuitable for children under 5 years.
Rental Condition
Rental basis is per property. Currency is stated in pounds but euros may be accepted by prior arrangement. Rental periods are from Saturday to Saturday, dates refer to nights of occupation. Prices are inclusive of use of electricity, water, bottled gas, linen and end of stay cleaning. Additional linen changes supplied for successive weeks. Twice weekly pool maintenance and garden tending is included. Deposit of 25% payable when booking. Refundable security deposit of £700 required.

The municipal tennis courts and swimming pool are a five minute drive from the house. There are many golf courses, including Terre Blanche, A newly established Health Spa is proving to be popular. All forms of water sports are to be found on the magnificent Lac de St Cassien within fifteen minutes drive of the Villa. Fayence itself has a famous international gliding centre offering trial flights for beginners as well as a truly spectacular gliding environment for experienced pilots. Horse riding is available locally and all levels of walking can be found in the surrounding countryside. Fayence has a new Cultural Centre with indoor and outdoor theatres. Theatrical performances and music are performed here and in local churches throughout the summer. Art galleries are to be found in the Cultural centre and in all local villages displaying the works of many local artists. Fayence has a colourful local market in the village square three times a week. Here you will find local pottery and fabrics as well as fresh vegetables, cheeses and local specialities. Near-by is the local Marché Paysan (Farmers Market) which is open six days a week in the summer.

The villa is only fifteen minutes walk away from the centre of Fayence, the primary village in the Canton of Fayence. Fayence is one of a chain of small hilltop villages, separated from the coast, only fifteen miles away, by the beautiful Esterel hills. A wide range of restaurants can be found, both in the villages and in the valley, providing regional recipes. Twenty minutes drive from the Villa to the A8 motorway gives easy access to Nice Airport and the rest of the Cote d'Azur. Cannes, Antibes, St Tropez, Juan Les Pins and the other fashionable resorts of the Cote d'Azur are all within easy reach from Fayence but the coast gets extremely busy in the summer and those who prefer a more leisurely environment may prefer to explore the historical villages in the region - Mons, Callian, Bargemon and St Cezaire. The Gorges of Verdon and Siagne are wonderful sights.
