Visit Parisio Palace with it's magnificent gardens www.palazzoparisio.com. Another visit not to be missed is The Rotunda in nearby Mosta, third largest in the world. During World War 11 a bomb was dropped over this church and precisely hit the dome went right through and came to rest without exploding right at the time of mas with a congregation of 350 people.

Naxxar is a village in the central north of Malta with a population of about 11500. the village festa with it's colourful fireworks is held on the 8th of September. The area where the village of Naxxar is built offers a natural shelter to its inhabitants. During the times of the Knights of Malta in 1530 a few towers were built as a form of inland fortification. amongst these were the Torri Tal-kaptan and Torri Gauci. these two towers played an important role during the Great Siege of 1565.
