Mon Repose is a cosy one bedroom ground floor apartment situated 240 yards from the family friendly Goodrington beach, overlooking the charming Youngs Park where the lovely trees and small lakes invite many species of sea and land birds to live and visit. Facilities close by include the model yachting lake, paddle boats, Quaywest Water Park, Torbay Pool and Leisure Centre and Paignton Zoo (five minutes drive).
The park is threaded with pathways for relaxing walks, and the park and promenade from Roundham Gardens and along by the North and South sands is completely on the level. Beautiful views of Torbay can be enjoyed from the Promenade.
Main line trains terminate at Paignton, but the Dart Valley Steam trains pass by in summer, calling at Goodrington Halt, for the enjoyment of young and old alike.
Paignton town, coach and railway stations, shops and theatre are all within walking distance; also the harbour with its small shops, aquarium and boating activities.
