Originally the farmhouse for the nearby Chateau Roucal, has been sympathetically restored and furnished to a very high standard, providing a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern convenience. It's many original features include golden stone walls, exposed beams and a lovely open fireplace.
The Wisteria-clad, South-facing, front of the house comes alive in Summer with a host of visiting butterflies, and the perfume from it's flowers is truly breath-taking!
The spacious accommodation (300m²) is arranged over two floors. The living room has comfortable seating arranged around a lovely stone fireplace and French doors leading to the garden and pool area. The second large sitting/dining room ,also opening onto the garden, has a dining table which seats 10. Kitchen/dining room with dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave and oak dining table and chairs. 4 Bedrooms all comfortably furnished, located on the first floor. 2 large double en-suite rooms, 2 spacious rooms each with a double bed and a single bed. 3 Bath/shower rooms and 1 indep. toilet. Pool house with shower. The pool (11m x 5m with roman steps and regulation safety fence) has a large paved patio with sunloungers and parasols. BBQ and dining terrace. Table tennis, garden swings and sandpit. Laundry room with washer, drying and ironing facilities.

A 25% dposit secures the booking. This deposit is refundable in the event of cancellation provided an alternative letting can be secured for the same period. The balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. Bed linen, towels and pool towels ( all changed weekly during stays of two or more weeks), electricity, water and gas charges are included in the price. Rentals, normally weekly (from Saturday to Saturday) are flexible in low season.

The garden of lawns with shade-giving trees and flowering shrubs is surrounded by woodland, ideal for walking, nature watching and outdoor adventures.There is plenty of room for outdoor games with badminton facilities, a garden swing and seesaw and a table tennis table and sandpit.
