Chalet L'achouta is a traditionally built wooden chalet in the fantastic resort of LA CLUSAZ. The chalet is fully equipped for the capacity, and there is plenty of room to spread out. The village centre is well served by free skibus in summer and winter.
Within the chalet, there is a lovely log fire, with logs provided.for cosy evenings at home. A TV, satellite, DVD, Video and HiFi music centre are all provided. There are some videos and DVD's, but feel free to bring your own.
There is also a small collection of games and a limited library. Please feel free to take a book home with you, but please leave one in its place.

Rental Condition
In Summer (July and August) and winter (mid december to mid april) The chalet is normally let by the week from saturday to saturday, and this is always the case in the christmas holidays and in february. At other times it is well worth asking for other arrival days and shorter let periods. We ask for a deposit of 35% on booking, the balance to be paid for 6 weeks before arrival.

The area aroung La Clusaz is known for its beauty. Green in summer and, of course, white in winter. For summer visitors, exploring the region is easy with a car. Annecy is a beautiful lakeside town, with an interesting old quarter. The medieval villages of Conflans and Yvoire are worth a visit, and there are many chateau, vinyards and great walks. Chamonix is 1 hr by car, and the trip to the top of the Aiguille de Midi is highly recommended.

In Winter, La Clusaz is dedicated to skiing, but other activities are available such as paragliding, snow shoeing, and dog sledding.
In summer the village is alive with activities. There are around 40 sports available in and around the area, with water sports at nearby Lake Annecy.
Alternatively you could just walk, or take a mountain bike on the numerous marked trails.
For golfers, there are 9 good quality 18 hole courses within 75 minutes drive. Several of these have hosted French championships at junior or senior level, and have been designed by internationally renowned architects.
