Description
A 3 bed room cosy detached cottage located in a secluded and elevated position behind the hill that overlooks Kilpadogue, Tarbert, hence the cottage name “back of the Hill” .The cottage overlooks the Shannon Estuary in beautiful County Kerry. The cottage has outstanding views of the surrounding countryside, the river Shannon and the coast line of County Clare. Directly outside the cottage is a lane that leads down to a secluded beach.

The cottage has two double bedrooms, one of which is fitted with a large double bed and the other with two single beds. The third bedroom has a single bed. There is a fold away bed available for a child in the larger of the double bedrooms, thereby sleeping 6 in total. The bedrooms are furnished with wardrobes, drawers and side cabinets.

There is a small cosy lounge fitted with a leather chesterfield suite, display cabinets, raised electric flame effect fire, nest of small tables, TV and Video players. The lounge has two windows with views to the front overlooking countryside.
The kitchen/dinning room is very large and is well equipped and includes electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, large pine dresser, large pine dinning table and chairs. There are three windows, two of which have fabulous views over the Shannon Estuary.
Rental Condition
A non refundable deposit of £50.00 per person is due when making a booking. An option will be held for 4 days until deposit is received. Final balance is due 8 weeks before departure. All bed linen and towels are provided and there is a £6.00 per person charge for this. We can accept payments by PayPal, cheque or bank transfer in GBP or EUROS

Tarbert village is only a 10 minute walk where you will find local pubs, shops, supermarkets, restaurant, internet cafe and also Tarbert Bridewell a museum with lifesize models depicting the life of prisioners in the 1830's.

Tarbert pier is a short walk from the village and offers the visitor lovely views, a pub and swimming. from here you can take the ferry from Kerry over to county clare.
