The historic town of Lagos is situated on the western end of the Algarve. The cobbled streets and lanes host a large variety of restaurants, bars and shops, which has a wonderful lively atmosphere in the day and especially during the hot summer months when live music and street entertainers are on every corner.
The area boast a number of first class golf courses, and the marina has many excursions availablemwhich include dolphin wathing, fishing trips, diving, horse riding etc.
The Monchique mountains with its spas and villages is only a short drive.
