Description
Quiet and intimate apartment overlooking directly the beautiful Mourne Rouge bay. Has its own private garden and is close to the beach, approx 10 metres, just a few steps to the beach and La sur Mer beach bar and restaurant. The apartment has large louvre double doors which you can leave open and just admire the view and sunsets. This apartment is ideally suited to 2 people and maybe a child although it can accomodate 2 couples as there is a double bed (or 2 singles ) in the bedroom and also a large sofa bed in the living room. There is also a sofa bed in the bedroom and a travel cot available if required. It is close to the famouse 2 and a half mile long Grand Anse beach and all amenities are closeby so there is no need for a car unless you wish to explore the island. The owner has a jeep available for use with the apartment if required at an extra cost of £100 a week. There is aircon in the bedroom and fan in the living rom also bars on the windows so you can therefore leave these open at night for the cooling breeze of the tradewinds. It is possible to do all watersports and scuba dive here, as well as walk in the rainforests, play golf etc.

Also a playstation and games and a shower over the bath, (4 piece suite). In the living room / diner / kitchen there is another tv/dvd player with a table to seat 3 or 4 and kitchen as well as a large sofa bed to comfortably take 2 people under the ceiling fan. The best bit are the double doors which open out onto a private and not overlooked garden and the beach and Caribbean Sea.

Location

Grenada is old English and undeveloped. Beautiful beaches all round the island and the sea is a warm 30 degrees. The inland part is a volcanic and rainforests area, where you can take guided tours or walk and hike. There is also a lake area inland. The north of the island is very beautiful and natural and you can see the Grenadines. You can take a ferry to here and also nearby Carricou. There are vilages and of course the capital city of St Georges with its new duty free cruise terminal and shopping centre. Most of the activity is in Grand Anse, approx 400 metres from the apartment (start of the 2 and a half mile long beach). here there are numerous restaurants and bars to choose from, shopping centres, fast food outlets and anything else you could want. The water sports are suberb and there are many to choose from as well as many dive schools and snorkelling centres. You can take boat trips and fishing trips.

Above, any water based activity is available, skiing at La Source, windserfing and hiking at Eco dive and trek, numerous dive outlets my favourite of which is Aquanauts Grenanda at True Blue because of their nice comfortable boats and snorkelling here available also. There is a 9 hole golf course above Grand Anse also
