Summer skiing available in France

Budding skiers and snowboarders who are looking for a location to hit the slopes in the summer months can do so in France, it has been stated.

Ski slopes in certain parts of France are open for 12 months of the year and one of these resorts includes the summer ski resort of the Perce Neige funicular in Tignes, according to Fast Track Ski.

The slopes at the venue, which has been in operation for over 15 years, have just been re-opened for the year.

Private lessons are available on the slopes for wannabe ski experts or snowboard improvers and the slopes will remain open until the end of August between the hours of 07:15 BST to 13:00 BST.

Those who wish to visit the destination as a group may be entitled to discounts in lesson prices by taking group lessons.

Anyone thinking of driving to the French resort should note some changes to the French driving laws, which include the need to carry a warning triangle and high-visibility security vest for safety reasons.ADNFCR-1687-ID-18662739-ADNFCR
