Ski Chalet moves from Switzerland to France

Holidaymakers who love skiing in France can now experience an 'extraordinary' ski chalet, which has been relocated from Switzerland.

Le Vieux Chalet, which has been described as a classical ski resort, is now based in the resort of Les Gets after its owners decided to move it to the picturesque location in 2001 by dismantling it and reassembling it, piece by piece.

"We're delighted to have Le Vieux Chalet on our books for Les Gets," said Chalet Experience director, Phil Teare. "It really is a stunning building and those who have used the chalet have been overwhelmed by just how beautiful it is.

"For anyone looking for a truly authentic Alpine chalet experience, this is an absolute must."

Built in 1910 in Switzerland, the revamped chalet, which now overlooks the Pic De La Corne in Les Gets in the French Alps, now comes loaded with new features such as en-suite bathrooms, under-floor heating and a sauna.

It also comes equipped with six bedrooms which can sleep up to 17, the owners say, is located only 350m from the nearest lift and retains its "rustic charm".ADNFCR-1687-ID-18692684-ADNFCR
