Rent out your cottage in Devon and benefit from surge in bookings

According to VisitDevon, tourist attractions and accommodation providers are witnessing a late upsurge in bookings.
Across the county, self-catering cottages, hotels and B&B's have witnessed a 57 per cent increase in bookings this summer compared to last year and 58 per cent are positive about the rest of the year.
Therefore, if you rent out your cottage in Devon it could be quite profitable as demand seems to be high.
There has also been a trend for last-minute bookings as tourists are remaining cautious about their money, the tourism board suggests.
Rosie Bates, the general manager of VisitDevon, said: "The recent good weather has definitely helped attract visitors to make late bookings for holidays in Devon."
Furthermore, tourist attractions such as Crealy Great Adventure Park in Exeter have also experienced increased visitor numbers.
The theme park for families has reported a 19 per cent increase in visitors in May and June. The adventure park has recently opened Vortex, which gives guests a birds-eye view of the grounds.
