Power-assisted luggage to make travelling lighter

Travellers planning villa holidays in Bulgaria or a visit to country cottages in France will soon have an easy time with their luggage after the world's first power-assisted suitcase was unveiled.

The revolutionary design in the PA power-assisted series of suitcases promises to make travellers' lives easier by distributing luggage weight to the suitcase's powered wheels thus making it more easily transportable.

According to the manufacturer, Live Luggage, even though the battery-powered suitcase weighs slightly over 10kg when empty, its innovative design makes it feel only 3kg heavy even with a 30kg payload.

This is applicable even when going uphill "which means a six-year-old or an 86-year-old can go almost anywhere with a fully loaded case", says Neil Armstrong, Live Luggage MD.

And for those worried about security issues, the company says Live Luggage has "all the required accreditations" and should not cause any problems while checking in.ADNFCR-1687-ID-18656421-ADNFCR
