Holiday villas to ski chalets, France has it all

With over 40 per cent of French people living in rented housing, French Property News has said that those wishing to invest have a "ready market" where "holiday rentals" are popular also.
Whether new builds or out of town properties, they all have their potential to make good money in France.
"Representing just over 18 per cent of the rental market, the most sought after are houses offering around 100 metres squared of living space, three bedrooms, a garage and a garden," noted the website.
The advantage to renting out holiday accommodation, they said, is the fact that if they are villas and apartments of good quality, more money can be charged to stay, which people will be more than willing to pay.
The bonus about investing in France is the huge variation of property on offer, so if you are looking for an old holiday gites, a ski chalet or a country cottage, they are likely to be available.
